Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). If frying, heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Mix together the gluten free breadcrumbs, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes if baking, flipping halfway.
  6. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side if frying until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake instead of frying and lightly spray with cooking oil for a crispier finish.
