Description

A delicious gluten-free take on classic orange chicken, full of rich flavors and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup gluten free flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine gluten free flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Toss the diced chicken in the mixture until fully coated.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the coated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic. Pour this sauce over the chicken in the pan.
  4. Stir well to coat the chicken and allow the sauce to thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Great served over rice or with steamed vegetables. Adjust sweetness by varying honey amount.
