Description

A delightful dish bringing classic Indian flavors home, made with tender chicken pieces in a creamy, gluten-free sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Put the diced chicken in the pan and cook until browned.
  5. Sprinkle in the garam masala, cumin, and paprika, stirring well to coat the chicken.
  6. Pour in the tomato puree and coconut milk, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  7. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro.

Notes

Use fresh spices for best flavor and adjust spice levels to taste. For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or blend part of it.
