- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Put the diced chicken in the pan and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle in the garam masala, cumin, and paprika, stirring well to coat the chicken.
- Pour in the tomato puree and coconut milk, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with cilantro.
Notes
Use fresh spices for best flavor and adjust spice levels to taste. For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or blend part of it.
