- 1 Gluten-free pizza crust
- 2 Onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Beef or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to your gluten-free pizza crust instructions.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and add sliced onions. Cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- Add broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the onions, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Roll out the gluten-free crust on a baking sheet.
- Spread the caramelized onion mixture evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle Gruyère and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake according to crust instructions or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Be patient while caramelizing the onions for enhanced flavor. For a vegetarian option, use vegetable broth.
