Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast

Instructions

  1. Combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Mix warm water, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and yeast in a separate bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes or until bubbly.
  3. Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  4. Transfer the batter to a greased loaf pan.
  5. Cover and let it rise for about an hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

For a crustier loaf, place a small dish of water in the oven while baking. Experiment with adding seeds or herbs for extra flavor.
