- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to coat evenly.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Spoon the beef mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use tamari for a gluten-free soy sauce alternative.
- Adjust gochujang for more or less spice.
- Serve with steamed rice for a heartier meal.
