Description

Enjoy these tasty and healthy gluten-free edamame snacks that are rich in protein and fiber.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups edamame (in pods or shelled)
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the edamame. Cook for 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and let cool.
  2. If using shelled edamame, simply thaw if frozen.
  3. Toss the edamame with olive oil, sea salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  4. Spread the edamame on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until slightly crispy.
  5. Serve warm or let cool and enjoy as a snack.

Notes

For a stronger garlic flavor, feel free to add more garlic powder. Experiment with different seasonings for unique flavors.
