A comforting gluten-free version of Salisbury Steak that offers classic flavors without the worry of gluten, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup gluten-free bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, gluten-free bread crumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- Add beef broth to the same skillet and bring to a simmer. If using, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the broth to thicken.
- Add patties back into the skillet and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve with mushrooms if desired.
Notes
Best served hot, can be paired with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
