Instructions
- Sprinkle the gelatin over water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to soften.
- Combine heavy cream, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it starts to simmer, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the softened gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into cups or molds and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
- Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh fruit or a fruit sauce.
Notes
Make sure the gelatin fully dissolves in the warm cream mixture for a smooth texture. Experiment with different flavors and add fresh fruits for a gourmet touch.
