Description

Delicious and easy-to-make gluten-free tortillas perfect for wraps, tacos, or quesadillas.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2/3 cup Warm Water

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the gluten free all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in the olive oil and mix with your hands or a fork until crumbly.
  3. Add warm water gradually, mixing until the dough pulls together into a smooth ball.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Divide the rested dough into 8 equal portions and roll them into small balls.
  6. Place a dough ball between two sheets of parchment paper and roll into a thin 8-inch circle.
  7. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook the tortilla for about 45 seconds on one side until bubbles form; then flip and cook for 30 seconds on the other side. Repeat with remaining dough.

Notes

For best results, roll tortillas as thin as possible. Adjust cooking time based on your stovetop.
