Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine gluten-free flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a ciabatta loaf.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing.
