Description

Delicious soft and moist Gluten Free Chocolate Muffins, perfect for breakfast, snacks or dessert, packed with rich chocolate flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the applesauce, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well blended.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
