Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth.
  3. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice or vegetables, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Adjust sweetness with honey and consider marinating the chicken in the sauce for added flavor. Add red pepper flakes for heat.
