Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons gluten-free flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Gluten-free pasta or rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
  3. Sprinkle gluten-free flour over the vegetables and stir well.
  4. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in sour cream, then add the cooked beef back into the skillet.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve over gluten-free pasta or rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate beef in garlic and herbs before cooking. For a richer sauce, add a splash of white wine after cooking the onions and mushrooms.
