Ingredients

  • 46 tbsp ice water
  • 6 medium apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix gluten-free flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add ice water gradually, mixing until dough forms.
  5. Divide dough in half, roll out one half, and place in pie dish.
  6. Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  7. Pour apple mixture into the crust.
  8. Roll out remaining dough and cover the pie, sealing edges.
  9. Cut slits on top for ventilation.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
