- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup gluten-free flour
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend dates with water to make caramel.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Fold wet ingredients into dry mixture.
- Pour batter into greased pan.
- Swirl date caramel on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting.
