Gluten-free brownies with a rich date caramel swirl for a naturally sweet treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blend dates with water to make caramel.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
  5. Fold wet ingredients into dry mixture.
  6. Pour batter into greased pan.
  7. Swirl date caramel on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting.
