Ingredients

- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup gluten-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls onto baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for best results
- Coconut sugar can substitute brown sugar
- Store in airtight container for up to 5 days
