- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter or dairy-free alternative
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to form a batter.
- Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix hot sauce, melted butter, and honey.
- Toss baked cauliflower in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes after saucing.
- Adjust hot sauce quantity to your spice preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
