Description

Crispy gluten-free jalapeño poppers made in an air fryer for a healthier snack.


Ingredients

  • 6 large jalapeño peppers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Dip stuffed jalapeños in beaten egg, then coat with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray or brush jalapeños with olive oil.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm.
