- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook meatballs for 8-10 minutes until browned on all sides.
- Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream and pesto to the skillet.
- Stir the sauce until it becomes smooth and warm.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cookie scoop to form evenly sized meatballs.
- Do not overcrowd the skillet when browning the meatballs.
- You can use store-bought or homemade pesto.
- Leftovers keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
