Ingredients

- 1 lb turkey breast, diced
- 1 cup barley
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat.
- Add turkey and cook until browned.
- Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in barley, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaf.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Remove bay leaf and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.

- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Adjust broth quantity for desired consistency.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
