Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, mix olive oil, egg, and milk.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in tomatoes and basil.
  5. Pour batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  6. Let it cool before slicing. Serve warm.
