Description
Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs are an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert perfect for warm-weather celebrations. Try them with whipped cream or white chocolate!
Ingredients
▢12 strawberries, tops removed and cut in half
▢12 oz. pound cake, cut into 1-inch squares
▢8 oz. whipped topping (optional)
▢1 bag white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Layer a strawberry, pound cake, and whipped topping onto a skewer until filled.
2. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. For chocolate version, cut cake into 1½ inch cubes and skewer with strawberries.
4. Melt white chocolate chips over low heat, stir constantly.
5. Drizzle chocolate over kabobs and place on parchment.
6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for best texture.
Assemble whipped cream kabobs just before serving.
Toast cake for added flavor.
