Description
This strawberry peach crumble blends juicy seasonal fruit with a buttery golden topping. It’s an easy, nostalgic dessert perfect for summer gatherings or cozy weeknights.
Ingredients
2 pounds peaches, peeled and sliced
1 pound strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine peaches, strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and flour.
3. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish.
4. In another bowl, mix flour, both sugars, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the fruit layer.
6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
You can prepare the fruit and crumble separately a day ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
For added crunch, stir in 1/4 cup chopped pecans or oats into the topping.
Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 4 days and can be reheated in the oven.
