Description
A fast and flavorful steak and shrimp stir fry with vibrant vegetables and a savory garlic-ginger sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or easy meal prep.
Ingredients
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, julienned
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. In two bowls, marinate shrimp and steak separately with soy sauce, cornstarch, and pepper. Let rest 10 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet. Sear steak slices for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
3. Add shrimp and cook until just pink and curled. Set aside.
4. Add more oil if needed. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and vegetables until crisp-tender.
5. Return steak and shrimp to skillet. Add remaining soy sauce and toss to combine.
6. Cook 1–2 more minutes, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
7. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice.
Notes
For extra heat, add chili flakes or sriracha.
Great with jasmine or brown rice.
Can be meal prepped and stored in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
