- 1/4 cup dark rum

- 1 star anise
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Pour apple cider into a saucepan.
- Add cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise, and orange slices.
- Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in rum and brown sugar if using.
- Let it warm for another 2 minutes.
- Strain into mugs and serve hot.
