Description

This Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake is a warm, creamy take on your favorite sushi roll—easy to make, full of bold flavor, and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups sushi rice

2 1/2 cups water

1/4 cup rice vinegar

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 pound fresh salmon, skinless and boneless

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 cup green onions, chopped

1/2 cup cucumber, diced

1/4 cup nori sheets, cut into strips

Soy sauce, for serving

Instructions

1. Cook sushi rice with water, then season with vinegar, sugar, and salt.

2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Press rice into the bottom of a greased baking dish.

3. Cook and flake the salmon. Mix with mayo, sriracha, sesame oil, and green onions.

4. Spread the spicy salmon mixture over the rice layer evenly.

5. Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes until hot and slightly golden.

6. Top with cucumber, more green onion, and nori strips. Serve warm with soy sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil the top for 2–3 minutes at the end. Swap salmon for canned tuna or cooked shrimp if preferred.
