- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 2 pears, peeled and diced
- 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1 cup dried plums, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all fruits in a medium saucepan.
- Add apple juice, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and honey if using.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with yogurt or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey.
