Instructions

- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle the almond mixture evenly over the crust, leaving a 2-inch border.
- Arrange pear slices in a circular pattern over the almond mixture.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the pears, pleating as needed.
- Brush the crust with egg wash and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving with vanilla bean ice cream.
