- 2 cups powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (for icing)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients gradually, then add milk until dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- For icing, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
Notes
- Chill dough for 30 minutes if too sticky.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Add food coloring to the icing for festive variations.
