Description

These Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs are the ultimate comfort food—tender meatballs simmered in a rich onion gravy, perfect over mashed potatoes or noodles.

Ingredients

Scale

1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs (about 3035 meatballs)

2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth

1 packet brown gravy mix

1 packet onion soup mix

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

1. Spray the insert of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker.

3. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meatballs.

4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.

5. Mix cornstarch and cold water to make a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker.

6. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until gravy thickens.

7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or noodles. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

For best flavor, use reduced-sodium broth.

Homemade meatballs can be used—just brown before adding.

Freezes well for up to 2 months.
