Ingredients
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch dressing mix
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix over chicken.
2. Add softened cream cheese on top. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
3. Once chicken is tender, shred with two forks in the slow cooker.
4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
5. Garnish with green onions if desired. Serve hot on buns, over rice, or as a dip.
Notes
For lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and cheddar.
Add cooked bacon, jalapeños, or frozen corn for variation.
