Description
A simple and delicious rosemary focaccia bread with a crispy crust and soft interior.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 7g active dry yeast
- 300ml warm water
- 10g salt
- 30ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour, then knead for 10 minutes.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Press the dough into a greased baking tray.
- Dimple the dough with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle rosemary and sea salt.
- Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
