- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla until a dough forms.
- Press half of the dough into the prepared pan and spread raspberry jam evenly over it.
- Roll out the remaining dough and cut it into strips to create a lattice pattern on top of the jam.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for easier mixing.
- You can substitute raspberry jam with any other fruit jam of your choice.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
