Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Add warm milk, pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and roll it into small balls.
- Mix brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice, then coat each dough ball.
- Arrange the coated balls in a loaf pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin puree for best flavor.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for better volume.
- Drizzle with cream cheese glaze if desired.
