Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm milk, pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter. Knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. Punch down the dough and roll it into small balls.
  5. Mix brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice, then coat each dough ball.
  6. Arrange the coated balls in a loaf pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
