Description

Prawn Saganaki is a Greek dish featuring prawns cooked in a tomato and feta cheese sauce. It’s flavorful and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 200g feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in canned tomatoes and oregano, simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add prawns and cook until pink, about 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle feta cheese on top and cover until cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
