Description
A traditional French dessert shaped like a log, often served during Christmas.
Ingredients

- 4 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 80g all-purpose flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200ml heavy cream
- 50g powdered sugar
- 100g dark chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Sift flour and cocoa powder, then fold into the egg mixture.
- Pour batter into a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Roll the cake while warm, then let it cool.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Unroll the cake, spread the cream, then roll again.
- Melt chocolate and spread over the log for decoration.
Notes
- Use a clean kitchen towel to roll the cake to prevent sticking.
- Chill before serving for easier slicing.
