Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring roasted mushrooms seasoned with thyme and balsamic vinegar.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz (450g) cremini mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread mushrooms evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway.
  5. Remove from oven and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use white button mushrooms if cremini aren’t available.
  • For extra richness, drizzle with a bit more balsamic vinegar before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
