Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, oregano, and basil to the pan.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot with pasta or bread.
