- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the glaze evenly over the turkey, covering all sides.
- Place the turkey on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
- Roast for about 3 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
