Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk whole wheat flour, oat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
