Ingredients

- 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
- Spread mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with marshmallows.
- Return to oven and bake until marshmallows are golden, about 5-10 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly mashed sweet potatoes for best texture.
- Adjust sugar to taste if sweet potatoes are very sweet.
- Toast marshmallows under broiler for extra browning.
