Description

A rich and comforting sweet potato casserole topped with gooey marshmallows. Perfect for holidays or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Spread mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and top with marshmallows.
  6. Return to oven and bake until marshmallows are golden, about 5-10 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly mashed sweet potatoes for best texture.
  • Adjust sugar to taste if sweet potatoes are very sweet.
