Description

A quick and flavorful one-pan meal with spicy Cajun-seasoned shrimp and sausage, perfect for a keto diet.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes over the vegetables.
  5. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. Return the sausage to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and add butter. Stir until the butter melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
