Description

A rich and indulgent pecan pie infused with Kentucky bourbon and topped with a smooth chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp Kentucky bourbon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, bourbon, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir in chopped pecans.
  4. Pour filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45–50 minutes until set.
  6. Cool for at least 2 hours.
  7. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil, then drizzle over the pie.

Notes

  • Use a deep-dish pie crust for best results.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • For a stronger bourbon flavor, increase to 3 tbsp.
