Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 liter chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced bacon and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in diced potatoes and shredded cabbage.
  5. Pour in the stock and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
