Ingredients

- 3 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a bowl.
- Mash avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add onion, jalapeño, blue cheese, pomegranate seeds, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm avocados for best texture.
- For less heat, remove jalapeño seeds completely.
- The blue cheese can be substituted with feta for a different flavor.
- Pomegranate seeds add a surprising crunch and sweetness.
