- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then transfer to ice water.
- Toast almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden, then set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add green beans and toss to coat in butter.
- Stir in lemon juice, almonds, salt, and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
