Description
A quick and flavorful one-pan meal with garlic butter shrimp and rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup white rice, uncooked
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add rice and broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is cooked.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Substitute brown rice for white rice if preferred.
