Description
Classic Linzer cookies with a jam-filled center and a dusting of powdered sugar.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, salt, and cinnamon together.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet.
- Divide dough in half, wrap in plastic, and chill for 1 hour.
- Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut circles and cut centers from half.
- Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Spread jam on solid cookies and top with cut-out cookies.
- Dust with powdered sugar.

- Chilling dough prevents spreading.
- Use any jam flavor.
- Store airtight for up to 5 days.
