Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Divide dough into small pieces and roll into ropes. Tie each into a knot.
  5. Place knots on a baking sheet and let rise for 15 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and oregano. Brush over warm knots.
  8. Serve immediately.
